I write contemporary queer fiction — slow burn, open door, and men who are much better at observing than asking for what they want.
My books follow people figuring things out late, badly, and with more precision than necessary: academics, bricklayers, commuters, exes, fathers, teachers, artists. Very specific food. Tea that means something it shouldn't.
Trained in classical studies, I write the way my characters love — precisely, reluctantly, and then all at once. Dry humour, found family, and tenderness that arrives through what people do rather than what they say. Expect an HEA you'll have earned by the last page.
I don't perform enthusiasm to a schedule. I turn up when I've got something worth saying. The kettle's on regardless.
